    Antique Lusterwibchen – Salzburg, Austria, Wine Maiden, early 1900, looks like ship figurehead carved wood, wrought iron, real deer horns. These unique and interesting maidens graced Austrian and German pubs, some have extra pieces attached to add candles from. As electricity became more common, the candles were removed and still hung for whimsical decorative impact. The first one of these (historically) dates to early 1500.
